Experimental Verification for 1eth » Pancreatic lipase, complex with colipase
Maximal membrane binding affinity of this lipase without colipase is -11 kcal/mol (Tsujita and Brockman 1987), which is less than corresponding calculated transfer energy(-16.1 kcal/mol). Without colipase, this lipase penetrates into the membrane deeper and in a slightly differnt orientation.
