Ice-structuring proteins represent a challenge for the implicit solvent model implemented in PPM: the molecules of water are rigidly bound to the structure and therefore effectively create polar surface that can be mispredicted as lipid bilayer-bound. That had happen with the dimer of related antifreeze protein "maxi" - 4ke2 (not included in the database).
