This is segment 656-683 of gp41, just before the transmembrane helix forming the trasmembrane part of trimer. It was fused with water-soluble coiled coil from another protein. This juxtamembrane trimer was predicted as a potentially transmembrane structure. However, this is hardly native structure since the hydrophobic helices are not packed with each other.
