Hydrophobic thickness is relatively uncertain due to significant misplacement of C-terminal helix, probably induced by binding of detergent in the substrate-binding site. This C-terminal TM helix is expected to significantly move along the bilayer normal after dissociation of ligand. The transmembrane topopogy published in JBC was incorrect (?).
